Costa Rica: Day 6

Another yummy breakfast!

Filling up the pools for water day!

Today's theme was "God Strengthens Me"

Team leaders demonstrating the hoop moves!

We started our morning opening session with a team relay- each team had to move the hula hoop without letting go of each other's hands. It was a lot of fun!

Peter came to share how Jesus strengthened his faith as called him out on the water.

A sweet moment of prayer to start our day!

We made illustrations of the stormy wave where Peter's faith was strengthened.

We made origami boats to test their strength on the water

Today's lunch- chopped souey and mango juice

As we were leaving the school we took a picture with the alto sign for our alto choir buddies who will miss us tonight at choir practice!

After we got back to our hotel Valerie took us to an ice cream shop where we enjoyed refreshing treats! I went with a Carmel sundae.

This evening we provided childcare from 4:30-7:30 for parents to enjoy a free date night, as those are few and far between for missionary families training here.

Bubbles were a big hit with the preschoolers

We kept having to push this little fella around in his stroller to keep him content- otherwise he cried!

Dora the Explorer is all the rage with this age group!

This little one climbed in my lap to watch Dora the Explorer!

Jo Jo the clown came for a quick visit and was a big hit!

A little apprehensive at first but Melissa convinced them it was ok to come close to Jo Jo

Limbo anyone?

When we got back to our hotel we sent Mia a belated birthday wish!
