This past weekend was the Tap Night/Induction weekend for my college's Greek Community. Now- granite.... none of these Greek organizations are national, they only exist in the realm of Lee University. I was tapped into Omega Alpha Phi exactly 6 years ago- 12 taps ago. I remember that weekend like it were just yesterday. The group of girls I got in with was natoriously dubbed the eclectic ragamuffin group. My Omega experience is full of wonderful memories that began that weekend. When I rushed for the club- I didn't know what I was signing up for! The bonds of friendship and sisterhood that were formed were the highlight of my college experience and have helped me to become the person I am today.
