Baby it's Cold Outside...

Driving home Thanksgiving night from my grandparent's house we ran into a lightening and thunderstorm. Folklore says fall lightening=cold winter. So far that folklore has been right! I don't remember it being so bitterly cold this early in the season. The local weather man reported that this is the coldest start to the winter we'ved had in 30+ years. We even had an early dismissal day the week before Christmas vacation (no complaints from this teacher). Today as I drove home from school I noticed that the roads were salted again in preperation for tomorrow night's precipitation.
