This morning I sat with Weston so that Lynn and Ashlyn could be at the benefit given in his honor by the KFD.
We had a fun time just hanging out. The progress he has made in 10 days is unbeleivable. He really thought, in his mind, that he would be able to attend the benefit. He had his first round of physical therapy waiting on him at noon. While we were hanging out we made a quick video...Emerald came to releve me and I caught the tail end of the benefit. It was great to see such a great turn out. My BFFs were even there to surprise me! Can't say how great that made me feel!
I took Ayden home for a nap after the benefit. No sooner had we gotten on the interstate than he was fast asleep. After his nap we picked Buddy up from my house and took him to the park to play.
On our way back to the hospital we took Buddy to stay with cousin Keri and Aunt Kennette's and called in an order at Outback- anything to get Weston to eat!
We ended the night with fun in Weston's room. Weston is having some slight trouble keeping his oxygen levels up- so sending a few extra prayers his way this evening.
