We headed for breakfast at Chik-Fil-A.
Then we took Ayden to Build-A-Bear to make a stuffed animal for "Bubby".
Realizing Ayden needed a break from the hospital we dropped him off by Aunt Cheryl's to spend the day playing with Berekely and Hayes.
The afternoon went by quickly.
We gathered around his bed again to sing- what a priceless moment that I'll treasure forever. They still have him heavily sedated. Later this evening they will begin to ween him off the sedation. They are going to try to get him off the ventilator to see if he can breathe on his on!
I'm proud of myself- I have been much more composed and not as emotional as I was yesterday! I held it together pretty well!
After leaving the hospital we stopped by Cheryl's to pick Ayden up. Once we put him in the car he was asleep in no-time flat. We ate dinner at Christo's. Then we decided to stop by Lowe's for some home improvement materials. We are going to paint the wall behind the recliner in the living room where the boys knocked a hole. After we paint the walls we're going to make "Weston is our Superman" t-shirts. Fun! Fun! Fun!
