Jonathan picked us up from the guest house and took us to downtown Cochabamba for sight seeing and buying souviners.
Jonathan bought us some corn feed to feed the pigeons and we tried to feed them from our hands but were unsuccessful.
Chocolate time!

Lunch!
Here we ate salteñas for lunch. Salteñas are savory pastries filled with beef, pork or chicken mixed in a sweet, slightly spicy sauce containing olives, raisins and potatoes. The drink was something peachy.
Next we went to the Cristo Concordia statue- tallest statue of Jesus in the world! It was quite a steep incline and hike up but we made it and the views were spectacular!
After Cristo Concordia we headed back to the guest house to rest and regroup before the New Year’s Eve cookout at Jonathan and Kara’s apartment.
We played several rounds of Uno and ate a delicous meal! Bolivians eat very late - and New Years was no exception! We ate dinner at 10 pm! R felt
Jona telling a joke 😆
Cheers to the New Year!
We fellowshipped with this great group - members from Genesis Cochabamba to ring in the New Year! Sharing our success of 2022 and hopes for 2023!
