Double Trouble

Cam and Carson
I was estatic last fall to realize I would have the Trott twins in my class. Carson and Camron- different as night and day- both bringing lots of joy and laughter to me each day. Carson was my studious, athletic, Tarheel fan while Cam was my mischeivious nut who had such a "way with words". Cam often said many innocent things, I named them his "caminisms"... here are a few I wanted to write down before I forgot them...

"Ms Dancy, I can't remember- what does MODE mean?" (what does mode sound like ).... "Oh, MOTOR! That's it!"

Cam how do you think early North Carolinians communicated? "they used a mega phone!"

"Ms Dancy, I'm really sorry you have to take the EOG next week too!" (my response: puzzled look) "You know she (the assistant principal) told us that she was going to check your bubble sheet too!

" Ms Dancy, would you rather be a monkey or a tiger?"

"Ms Dancy- if you hit your funny bone- will it laugh?"

Road trip for the 4th!

Jenny P and I decided we would take a road trip to the ATL for the 4th! We left Monday and came back yesterday. It was a whirl wind of a trip but we made the most of it and packed in a lot of fun!

We went to the Coca Cola Museum!

 Ate lunch at the Varsity!

 Went to a Braves game!

Here we are stuck in a closet behind one of the many food vendors- a major thunderstorm with lightening and high winds decided to intrude on our fun- causing a game delay.
Beautiful fire works to celebrate the 4th!

Here we are at the Georgia aquarium.

Stone Mountain on the actual 4th- it was hotter than blue hazes!

 The firework did not disappoint!
On our way out of town we stopped in Marietta to eat lunch with one of my favorite Lee friends, Dana!
